Dr. Steven Case graduated from F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Maryland and completed his internship and residency at the San Diego Naval Medical Center. He also completed subspecialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Cincinnati Sports Medicine, Deaconess Hospital and San Diego Naval Medical Center. Before joining Morehead, Dr. Case was the Chief of Orthopedics at the Naval Hospital in Puerto Rico, an Associate Professor in Sports Medicine at the University of Florida, and served as a Commander in the U.S. Navy for 16 years. He is a member of the Southern Medical Association, Southern Orthopedic Association, Eastern Orthopedic Association and the American Medical Association, in addition to being a Diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. His services offered include arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, sports medicine, fractures, trauma, joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder, pediatric and adolescent fractures, and hand and foot surgery.
